Brixton is difficult for home charging and we would rather be blunt about it. The Victorian streets around Coldharbour Lane and Loughborough Junction have essentially no off-street parking, and Lambeth does not permit trailing cables across the pavement. Lambeth has installed lamp-column and bay charging in parts of SW2 and SW9, which is the realistic route for most residents here. Where we can install is the larger Brixton Hill villas that have retained a front driveway, and occasionally an estate garage block where the freeholder agrees and there is a supply to work from.
The property types we see in Brixton
Brixton Hill and the streets towards Tulse Hill have big 1880s villas, most subdivided into three or four flats, often in the 1970s and 80s and often without the original supply being properly re-engineered. Loughborough Junction and Coldharbour Lane are denser Victorian terrace, heavily converted. Getting to you in Brixton
