The property types we see in Streatham

Their weakness is the vintage of their last upgrade: a great many were partially rewired in the 1970s or early 80s, which means PVC cable that is genuinely old, wall-mounted fuse boxes of that era, and lighting circuits with no earth. Telford Park is larger Edwardian housing, much of it still whole houses. Streatham Hill has interwar mansion blocks with communal risers and, in several cases, original 1930s intake positions still in service.
