Battersea has a heavy concentration of furnished lets around Clapham Junction aimed at sharers, and those are the properties where PAT testing actually matters — high tenant turnover, and appliances that arrived with previous tenants and never left. We test between tenancies, which around here means late August and September. The Nine Elms blocks tend to be let unfurnished, so testing is limited to the landlord's own white goods.
The property types we see in Battersea

The conversions matter more than the age: when a house is divided, the original single supply is usually split with tails run through common parts to sub-boards, and the earthing arrangement at the sub-boards is very often incomplete. Getting to you in Battersea
